What the heck is Argentium?! The quick version.
Argentium, which is where the country Argentina gets its name, is a form of silver that was created in 1991.
Argentium has a higher luster, is more sturdy, and is more resistant to tarnishing.
Best of all, its also hypoallergenic.
We’ve started using Argentium in the small parts of some of our pieces because of its resistance to tarnishing. This way, when you need to polish your piece, you’ll only need to worry about the larger parts, and not the small, tiny, hard to get, spaces.
If we’ve used Argentium on a piece, it will be put in the description.
